Jacelyn is a visual artist and designer from Singapore, based in London. Creating under her moniker Bbblob, she imagines a dreamlike world shaped by her language in form and colour. Her practice sits between painting and object making, working across painting, sculpture, textiles and murals.

Guided by the interaction of forms, her work traces transience and movement assembled from landscapes and built environments. Jacelyn reflects on identity through nature, particularly her interest in plants. Influenced by the nature growing up in Singapore, observing natural patterns became a way of understanding the self, an inner landscape shifting and adapting.

Working with materiality, she engages with the surface to form layers and depth. Natural elements are collaged and composed with a sense of lightness. Forms float, stack, tilt and overlap. A language that is shaped and shifting emerges.
