Jacelyn is a visual artist and designer from Singapore. Creating under her moniker Bbblob, she explores harmony in form and colour. Bright, vivid and organic shapes interacting with one another to represent our relationship with ourselves and others. Making works that capture the transient nature of emotions.

She makes paintings, sculptures, murals and collages. Jacelyn also works as a brand designer. Her branding work is an extension of Bbblob’s identity. Influenced by her design background, Jacelyn forms her own shape language. She is interested in the way form and colour interacts with one another, whether it is within a canvas painting or across multiple shaped canvases and woodcuts. 

Jacelyn has exhibited works in solo shows at UltraSuperNew Gallery, For the People and in group shows at Uprise Art New York, Art Porters Singapore and Outset Galway. She has also presented works for the Summer Exhibition 2023 at the Royal Academy of Arts London, Sculpture 2052 Singapore, Mocana New York, SOJAO Singapore and Creative Unions during Singapore Art Week 2021. Jacelyn enjoys collaborating on creative projects, translating her artworks into textiles, prints, wallpaper and installations. Her collaborative projects include working with brands such as Yacht 21 Singapore and Unwind Studio Portugal. Other projects include  murals for brands such as YouTrip and initiatives such as Making Waves Singapore. One of her public mural project commissioned by Orchard Central in collaboration with Mural Lingo was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards in 2021. 

Through her paintings, she reimagines natural forms into abstract landscapes. Forms take shape from still life and daily observations, inspired by nature and our body. In the process of balancing forms, her works find rhythm and unity.
